According to "bitcoin standard" by Saifedean Ammous, Carl Menger "father of austrian economics" came up with idea of Salability. Saifedean may have expanded upon this, but Salability is described in "The Bitcoin Standard" as money which can be exchanged across: 1. Scales, meaning the exchange medium can be broken down to the unit desired to complete the sale. This can otherwise be referred to as divisibility, mentioned in [[Supply#Satoshis and Bitcoin Divisibility|Supply and Bitcoin's Divisibility]]. 2. Time, meaning that the value holds over time and can be effectively relied upon as a [[Chain Concepts/Tokenomics/Store of Value|store of value]]. 3. Space, meaning that the asset can be moved across distances with little friction.
